Daniela Mejía Alzate

Daniela Mejía is a Colombian lawyer from Los Andes University, admitted to practice in 2015, with a postgraduate degree in public administration and administrative institutions from the same university, and another postgraduate degree in Corporate Finance at Colegio de Estudios Superiores de Administración –CESA–. She is now aspiring for a postgraduate degree in Public Administration at Los Andes University.

She is member of Durán & Osorio Abogados since 2015. She has acquired experience in social and urban infrastructure projects, as she has been member of the legal advisory for PPP projects in schools and specialized urban transportation infrastructure such as tramways. She has provided advice to private companies of public services, has participated in consultancies to find and define strategies of business solution of public energy companies with public participation, amongst other projects. Daniela has been working as well in different issues regarding administrative law, public services, banking and public finance.

Daniela has worked on different matters regarding water and sanitation. She was member of the legal team that worked online of business in the water sector including the analysis of specific investment projects for a private client and in the constitution of a public utilities company for the supply of the water and wastewater in a nearby Bogotá municipality.
