Durán & Osorio has participated in the development of most of the railway projects in Colombia. The firm has therefore played its part in such projects ever since the railway infrastructure concessions were first awarded at the end of the 90’s until the restructuring of the concession contracts as part of a wider response to market needs and particularly to the need for the transportation of cargo.

Currently the law firm advises private individuals, corporations and the Colombian government in progressing new initiatives for the development of railways projects in the country, including the structuring for Bogotá's First Metro Line and the light railway Regiotram.
